Drupal was at OSCON 2016 in Austin, TX, represented by a team of volunteers and Association staff members. Big thanks to Mika Aguilar, Stephanie El-Hajj, Michael Favia, Jeff Linwood, Michal Minecki, Emilie Nouveau, Cole Pacak, Jakob Perry, Ed Reel, Patricia Silva, and Jason Yee for helping out.

Thanks to the media partnership between DrupalCon and O'Reilly Media, we received a table in the exhibit hall to promote Drupal to the wider open source audience of OSCON. Here is how the days went, according to our volunteer crew:

OSCON, the annual open source conference, brings over 4,000 people together in Portland this July. We are a proud participant again this year and we are excited to talk about Drupal to a wider audience.

The Drupal community is a large, vibrant group made up of contributors all over the world. It is a community working toward the common goal of moving the Drupal project forward and enjoying the benefits of that work. But it doesn’t end there. Drupal is part of something bigger: the idea that open source has an important role in today's and tomorrow's technology ecosystem.

Drupal will be represented at this year's O'Reilly Open Source Convention (OSCON) in Portland next week. If you're attending, make sure to stop by the Drupal booth #206 in the convention hall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! We've been able to work with local volunteers to make sure they have the supplies needed to make Drupal stand out.
