As the organization responsible for your home as a Drupal developer, we've been working very hard in 2013 to ensure that we devote more resources to maintaining and improving Drupal.org. We've begun diversifying the revenue stream so that we can scale our income and provide more funding for Drupal.org projects. We are launching Working Groups to manage the strategic direction and policy setting we need to make good decisions for the site. And now, we're looking to free up our limited technical staff here at the DA so that they can focus more fully on Drupal.org.

Drumm and Tvn have been the lone tech staff much of their time at the Drupal Association. In that thankless role, they have had to support not only D.O, but every Con website, our database, and even the occasional tech support request from staff. We need to get all the non-D.O tasks off their plate so they can focus on what they care about: the Drupal Community and Drupal.org. So, we're very excited to announce a new opening at the Drupal Association. We're looking for a Technology Manager with a wide range of tech skills to support our work.

Please share far and wide so we can find the best candidate possible!

Overview:

The Drupal Association seeks a nerd with a softer side to manage the Association technology needs. Our websites and internal systems are the fuel for an aggressive growth and program plan, and we need someone who can help us use these tools to rocket to success.

The Drupal Association serves our diverse Drupal Community - including coders, site builders, content editors, business people, themers, and more. Through webinars, conferences, grants, trainings and more, we reach thousands of people a year in our quest to support and grow the Drupal Project.

In a nutshell, the Technology Manager has the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Drupal Community by helping us find and deploy tools that support our strategy, make our progress more transparent, and make participation in the Drupal Community easy and fun for everyone.
