April 8 and 9, Drupal training events happened around the world. Newcomers were introduced to the project and the community. Thanks to all the hosts, trainers, and participants who made Global Training Days a success.
The final Global Training Days of 2015 took place on November 20th and 21st, right after the Drupal 8 release. While many in the community were finishing their celebrating, the trainers were just getting warmed up to introduce people to the world of Drupal. Thirty-nine sites held a training in 21 countries.

Global Training Days last weekend was a great success. There were 33 hosts from 21 countries who stepped up to introduce new people to Drupal in both half and full day sessions.
This quarter saw a phenomenal turn out for the Drupal Association’s May Global Training Days! 25 training companies from 15 countries participated in hosting Introduction to Drupal sessions. A huge thank you to our community organizers and trainers, you are helping grow Drupal adoption globally!

Drupal Global Training Days are quickly approaching and we do not want you to miss out on the February date. Global Training Days is an initiative by the Drupal Association to introduce new and beginning users to Drupal. The Drupal Association is partnering with training companies to make this happen.

After each Global Training Day, we like to hear from people who participated to get a sense for how their training went and whether there are lessons learned that can be shared with the community.
