Financial update

Net profit number for this year

Revenues for Belgium Drupal VZW, we are actually losing money, but money will be covered by DrupalCon Inc.

In terms of revenue DrupalCon is the vast 374,000euros in europe 719,000 euros in US.  Our next line item is Drupal.org hosting, we get a commission based on what they sell on the hosted website.  201,000 euro net profit.

IRS

We are not officially a 501c3 yet.  Our lawyer thinks that we will become one soon.  We follow all definitions of a non-profit.

The need to separate activities before the two organizations

we are going to move over DrupaCon operations to DrupalCon Inc.  Its the best organization to operate the conferences because it is such a high gross revenue operation and high expense operation that falls directly under a non-profit role.

Redesign

Redesign is on track, we have used half of the contract value.  We expect to launch the new theme on october 1st.

Budget Requests

Additional  30,000 dollars to extend the contract for solar tuning to get the redesign done within the deadline.

Phase 2 budget request

Begins November 1st.   45,000 USD to generate development of the redesign, this motion was approved

GIT Migration

its a huge endeavor, it was expected that it will take 1,000 hours to move over to GIT, thats just the coding.  We had to re-look at how Git was managed.  Moving to hire a project manager and hiring an associate developer.
