I am a senior front-end developer since 2006. I am 35, married for 9 years and father of two children. I work and live in Shanghai city more than 8 years.
Since 2008, I have grown more involved with the Drupal Community by attending camps, meetups, workshops, IRC, etc. I have been promoted Drupal in China for more than eight years. I co-author a book about Drupal 6 in Chinese, published in Taiwan with other two friends in August 2009 more info at http://drupalchina.cn/node/189.
I provide assistance to organizing other City Drupal meetups in China with other developers, like Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing and so on. I created the first online communication group about Drupal in China using QQ with 2000 members, I help answer questions almost everyday.

What perspective will you bring to the board when discussing strategic topics?:
Enhancing connections in the Asian Drupal community. Drupal is very popular in Europe and America, but in the Asian region, it also need to be further promoted. I hope Drupal Association pay more attention to these community. Strengthen communication with the leader of these contries or cities.
What existing board topics are you most passionate about? and why?:
"Understanding what the Project needs to move forward and determine how the Association can help meet those needs through Drupal.org and DrupalCon." Drupal is an open source CMS, "move forward" needs all local Drupal community voice.
What additional strategic topics would you like to introduce?:
Pay more attention on Non-English speaking countries market.
The Drupal China community is isolated from the rest of the world and as a Community Leader in China, I want to build bridges between our local community and the Drupal Community around the world.
What unique skills would you bring to the board?:
I have been running the un-official Drupal China community website: drupalchina.cn for about 8 years. Co-Organized some d.o. Documentations initiative in Chinese and other Drupal related blogs translations task.
How have your past contributions to Drupal prepared you for board candidacy?:
I have organized a lot of Drupal meetups in Shanghai, and helped organize meetups in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing,etc. And I have organized some translation task of Drupal documentation from English to Chinese.
